The Production Process of Graphitized Petroleum Coke (GPC) Carbon Raiser

Graphitized petroleum coke (GPC) carbon raiser is a highly pure graphite material produced through specific high-temperature graphitization treatment of petroleum coke. This treatment typically occurs at high temperatures, exposing the petroleum coke to a thermal environment exceeding 2500°C. Through pyrolysis and graphitization reactions, its structure undergoes transformation, forming a pure graphite structure.

 

Graphitized petroleum coke (GPC) carbon raiser possesses excellent properties such as high temperature strength, high conductivity, high thermal stability, and chemical stability. It finds wide applications in fields such as electrodes, graphite materials, refractories, semiconductor materials, and more. Due to its high purity and complete crystal structure, it is also extensively used in high-tech fields like aerospace, nuclear engineering, optoelectronics, among others.

 

The Production Process Of Graphitized Petroleum Coke (gpc) Carbon Raiser :

  1. Raw Material Selection and Crushing: High-quality petroleum coke materials are selected and processed through screening, crushing, and other treatments to achieve appropriate particle sizes.
  2. Calcination: Properly sized petroleum coke carbon materials are placed into high-temperature furnaces for calcination. This process not only purifies and upgrades the petroleum coke but also enhances its calorific value and physical properties.
  3. Cooling and Sorting: The calcined petroleum coke is cooled to reduce its temperature and then mechanically sorted to remove any substandard products, ensuring product quality.
  4. Graphitization Treatment: The cooled petroleum coke undergoes high-temperature graphitization treatment, where it is placed into graphitization furnaces and processed at temperatures ranging from 2800°C to 3000°C. During this process, residual impurities gradually volatilize, and carbon atoms rearrange to form a denser graphite structure, ultimately producing high-purity graphitized petroleum coke.
  5. Packaging and Shipping: Following graphitization treatment, the product undergoes fine processing and packaging, ready for sale and use in various industrial products such as electrodes, cathodes, boiler fuels, and more.
