Alloy Cored Wire
The cored wire is to crush various additives (deoxidizer, desulfurizer, modifier, alloy, etc.) to be added to the molten steel or molten iron into a certain particle size, and then use a cold-rolled low-carbon steel strip to form a strip with Composite materials of any length. Core-clad wire technology is an out-of-furnace refining method developed in the 1980s based on spray metallurgy technology. Cored wire is suitable for steelmaking and casting. When used in steelmaking, it can purify the form of steel inclusions, improve the castability of molten steel, improve the performance of steel, significantly increase the yield of alloys, reduce alloy consumption, reduce steelmaking costs, and have significant economic benefits.

Application Of Alloy Cored Wire
1. Addition of metallurgical materials during smelting: core wire makes it easier to add metallurgical materials to molten steel during the manufacturer's steelmaking process. The method of use is to insert the core wire vertically into the molten iron or molten steel through the wire feeder, where the metallurgical materials, such as the core wire, are fully melted and chemically reacted at the desired depth. This effectively avoids the reaction of added elements with air and slag and improves the absorption rate of the smelted material.
2. Deoxidiser and desulphuriser: Core wire is widely used as a deoxidiser and desulphuriser to improve the quality of steel.
3. Alloy additives: Through the core wire, the morphology of steel inclusions can be changed, effectively improving the quality of steelmaking and casting products.


The calcium silicon cored wire, Calcium Ferro cored wire, and calcium cored wire are used for steelmaking as the deoxidizer, alloy additives and pure the molten steel. The carbon cored wire and sulfur wire are always used to increase the content of carbon and sulfur for steelmaking and casting, what is more, there is also the ferro silicon magnesium cored wire to be used as the nodular for the casting.
