Product Description

Composition and Content
The main components of calcium-silicon alloys are silicon and calcium, of which the silicon content is about 40%-60%, the calcium content is about 20%-35%, and the remaining part is iron. In addition, small amounts of aluminum, manganese, zirconium and other elements may be included.
Production Process
Calcium-silicon alloys are usually obtained by smelting in a strong reducing atmosphere at a high temperature of 1500-1800 degrees Celsius. Specific manufacturing methods include mixed charging, layered charging and calcium carbide methods.
Physical Properties
The density of calcium-silicon alloy varies according to the composition, but it is generally more dense. The melting point is between 980 and 1200℃, and the conductivity is good at high temperature.
