Product Description

Mn Metals are widely used in the production of stainless steel, high manganese steel and other special steels as deoxidiser, desulphuriser and alloying element. Compared with electrolytic manganese flake, it is easier to add and less loss. Therefore, Mn Metals are additive for steelmaking and non-steel alloys. They can penetrate deep into the steel to achieve the desired final manganese concentration in the steel.

Application

1.Mn Metals are used as an alloying additive to increase the strength, hardness, elastic limit, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of steel.

2.Mn Metals are also used as an austenitic composite element in high alloy steel, which are used in the manufacture of stainless steel, special alloy steel and stainless steel electrode.

3.Ferromanganese alloy is a commonly used deoxidizer in steelmaking. It also has the properties of desulfurizing and reducing the harmful effects of sulfur. Therefore, in the production of steel and cast iron, a certain amount of manganese is always required. It is also an important alloy component, widely used in structural steel, tool steel, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, wear-resistant steel and other alloy steels.
