Production process

Chemical grade industrial silicon is extracted from silica through the processes of calcium carbide method, volatilization method and chlorination method, and the production process is relatively simple. Physical Characteristics
Metallurgical grade industrial silicon requires lower purity, usually requiring Si content between 95-99% and other impurities such as Fe, Al, Ca, Mg and other impurities.
Chemical grade industrial silicon requires higher purity, generally requires Si content of 99.999% or more, and requires a low content of various types of impurities to meet the silicon wafers, optical fiber, solar cells and other high-tech applications.
