Product Description
Ferromanganese is produced by reducing manganese oxide in blast furnaces or electric furnaces. This is a very flexible process, the slag can be reprocessed into silicon ferromanganese, silicon ferromanganese can be further refined into low and medium carbon ferromanganese. High Carbon Ferro Manganese (HCFeMn) is one of the most widely used ferroalloys in the world. High Carbon Ferro Manganese is a manganese alloy made by direct smelting of manganese ore. It is the most used ferrous alloy, mainly used in steel production (90%), with the remaining 10% used in casting and welding.
