Silicon carbide, whose chemical formula is SiC, is an inorganic substance. It is made by high temperature smelting in a resistance furnace from: quartz sand, petroleum coke, and wood chips. Silicon carbide in nature is called moissanite, which is a relatively rare substance. Silicon carbide has a very high hardness and melting point, and it is so good in its electrical, thermal, mechanical and chemical forms that it is widely used in fields such as electronics and aerospace.

1.Raw Material Preparation

5. Surface Treatment
Common surface treatment methods include polishing, coating, etc. to improve the material's finish and corrosion resistance. The purpose is to improve the performance of silicon carbide.
6. Inspection and Quality Control
