Physical Properties
Silicon carbide ball is a ceramic material made by thermal fusion of the elements carbon and silicon with a hexagonal crystal structure. It has these physical properties. Firstly, the hardness of silicon carbide ball is more than 5 times of the traditional metal material, and it has good stability under the harsh environment of high temperature, high pressure and corrosion. Secondly, it has a high melting point, which reaches about 2780°C, and can withstand high-temperature environments. Finally, the silicon carbide ball has good acid and alkali resistance, and can operate stably for a long time under strong acid and alkali environments.
