Calcined anthracite Coal (CAC) is anthracite after heat treatment, its main characteristics are low phosphorus, low ash, low sulfur. Therefore, it can not only be used as a carburizer in the steel smelting and casting industry, but also in the metallurgical industry can produce carbon blocks, cathode carbon blocks, carbon bricks and carbon pastes. After calcined anthracite is treated and screened at high temperature, the particles are uniform, and it is one of the ideal materials for carburizing agent and electrode paste.

Calcined anthracite is often used as a carburizing agent in ladles and blast furnaces in steel plants, and is also used to produce carbon blocks and pastes. It is also used as a replacement for calcined petroleum coke in the production of ductile and gray cast iron.
