Products Description

Graphitized carburizer is the product of high temperature treatment and graphitization of petroleum coke. The graphitized petroleum coke is placed in the graphitizing furnace. After high temperature treatment of about 3000℃, the disordered layered structure carbon crystal of petroleum coke is transformed into hexagonal layered structure carbon, that is, petroleum coke becomes graphite. A process called graphitization. The petroleum coke processed by graphitization process is called Graphitized Petroleum Coke (GPC).

GPC can promote the nucleation of graphite in ferrofluid, increase the content of spherical graphite, and improve the microstructure and grade of gray cast iron and ductile cast iron.

It is widely used as a carburizing agent in the steel industry and precision casting industry, a reducing agent in the casting industry, a reducing agent in the metallurgical industry and a refractory material.

Features

1. GPC can greatly improve the proportion of ferrite content in ductile iron without pearlite stabiliser;
2. It can improve the proportion of V and VI type graphite when used;

3. Fast absorption and easily soluble in molten iron.
4. Compared with the improvement of the shape of spherical graphite, the substantial increase in the amount of spheroidal graphite, which can reduce the use of expensive nucleating agents in the later fine-tuning, significantly saving costs.

5.The carbonization is stable, the absorption rate is high, and the heating effect is obvious: no slag returns. It can effectively protect and extend the life of the furnace and reduce the consumption of furnace lining.
